Board of Directors
Anthuan Xavier: Chairman
Anthuan founded the accounting firm BDO Simpson Xavier in 1982 and was Managing Partner of that firm for over 20 years, growing the firm from two people to become one of the most successful Irish accounting firms ever. He retired from the firm in 2005. Anthuan grew his business through good times and bad, through three recessions and the Celtic Tiger. He took his position on the Version 1 board in 2009.
Justin Keatinge: Managing Director
Justin started his career in the IT department of ESB where he meet fellow Version 1 founder John Mullen. Since the company was founded in 1996, Justin has been responsible for driving the company’s growth in all sectors of the Irish and UK markets. He has a depth of expertise in technologies, such as Oracle, and extensive knowledge of the IT needs and challenges of the Irish public sector.
John Mullen: Director
John enjoyed rapid career progression in ESB before he left to establish Version 1 with Keatinge. His major technology focus is on the Oracle product set and he is continually monitoring product developments and is recognised as an expert in this area. He is an experienced project director, having led the development of a number of large-scale projects. Given his technical expertise and project experience, John plays a key role in ensuring our solutions are developed using the most appropriate and cost-effective mix of technologies.
Tom O'Connor: Director
Tom is an experienced business consultant and has held senior positions in Andersen Consulting, Prospectus Strategy Consultants and Digital Channel Partners. Since joining Version 1 in 2001, Tom has taken a leading role in many of our client engagements and has been ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of many high profile technical and business consulting projects.
