Version 1 Wins New Deals Totalling €3 Million

    17 January 2011

Version 1 was listed as a supplier of choice in the recent IT Trends and Expenditures in Ireland 2010 Special Study conducted by influential market research firm IDC. Based on the IDC's annual survey of Irish IT executives, the report finds that Version 1 holds its own against the multinational players and scores particularly well as a preferred supplier to larger organisations (500+ employees) and organisations in the Public Sector. Version 1 has signed new deals worth three million euro in recent months.

IDC Report Names Version 1 as a Leading Indigenous IT Service Provider

Commenting on the report Version 1 Managing Director Justin Keatinge says, "Version 1 has increased its market share, particularly in the Public Sector, by offering value-driven IT services and solutions. At a time when organisations are under severe budgetary and staffing pressures, Irish suppliers who can optimise IT costs, drive efficiencies and improve performance are going to succeed. Our performance has been strong this year and in recent months we have secured new deals with a combined value in excess €3M. The deals will see Version 1 deliver IT services to Musgrave Group, Irish Life and the Revenue Commissioners."

IDC Ireland Research Director and report author John Gilsenan says, "Given the challenging economic conditions Ireland is facing, it is great to see such as strong performance from an indigenous IT Service Provider."
