Success for Version 1 at the Belfast Telegraph Awards IT 2021
Success on the ‘Empowered People’ side of our strategic triangle
As digital transformation is constantly at the forefront of Version 1’s mind, we were thrilled to sponsor the ‘Best use of Cloud Services’ category at the 2021 Belfast Telegraph IT Awards which took place on Friday the 5th of November in Belfast’s MAC Theatre. These awards honoured the achievements of companies and people in the IT industry in Northern Ireland.
There was success on the ‘Empowered People’ side of our strategic triangle with Johnny Gillespie taking the award for ‘Young IT Professional’ and Seamus Wilkinson winning IT Professional of the year. Lorna McAdoo was also highly commended for IT Woman of the year along with Tanya Matthews who was highly commended for Young IT Professional.
These accolades for our Northern Ireland team come after a year of growth and change as Version 1 acquired Neueda, a Northern Ireland based digital services specialist in June 2021.
For Version 1 the awards are an important platform to not only recognise the talent that we have here in NI but to celebrate each other’s success together. 2021 has been a great year to date and one of the high points being our acquisition of Neueda. It is great to see that we have some of our new members of the Version 1 NI family on the shortlist. I am very excited for 2022 and what we can achieve as a team in NI.
