SharePoint Organisation Chart Web Part

Version 1 has developed a Sharepoint OrgChart Web part which allows you to extend the very basic organisational chart listing in Sharepoint. The web part, developed in Silverlight, provides a more intuitive, easy-to-navigate tree view of your organisation.

It does not require any additional administration to update, as the information to form the hierarchy and display names is fed directly from Active Directory and/or Sharepoint User Profiles.

As well as using it as your standard organisational chart across your company or department, you can quickly and easily create an organisational chart for a current project or virtual team in place. Roles, that are specific to that project or team, can be assigned to individuals and displayed accordingly.
