Leading Irish IT consultancy company, Version 1 has appointed Donal McCarthy to the position of Senior Solutions Manager. In his new role, Donal will head up their financial services division with focus on growing revenues and clientbase within this sector.
Donal brings more than 12 years technology sales and market development experience to Version 1, most recently with Similarity Systems where he established its North American presence prior to its acquisition by US company Informatica. He previously worked with FINEOS for more than seven years in a variety of roles all focused on identifying, targeting and developing new business opportunities and market segments across Europe and in North America.
Donal's general management ability combined with his knowledge of the financial services sector and experience of gaining rapid growth for companies will be invaluable to Version 1 as it continues to grow its business in the Irish market place.
