Women at Version 1
Version 1 are delighted to support diverse events from Girls Who Code, School Reach Out, Women's ReBoot, the Women In Tech Initiative at the annual Women in Tech Awards and STEM Ambassador Programme to Women in IT. In addition we have seen a 3% increase in female employees in total from 2017 to 2019, and 30% of senior management are women.
LGBTQ+ Employees
We are working hard to create a culture that empowers our LGBTQ+ employees. We took the first steps in this journey by celebrating Pride across our offices in the UK and Ireland. Our latest step is the launch of our LGBTQ+ resource group which we hope will ensure Version 1 is a Great Place to Work for people of all genders and sexualities.
Unconscious Bias
One of the key aims of our Diversity & Inclusion Committee is to identify, challenge and reduce unconscious bias in the workplace. Workplaces with less bias all tend to cultivate fairer, more diverse and more successful cultures. To promote this we have built Unconscious Bias training into our mandatory onboarding training for any new joiners.
