ERPM Cloud (SaaS) Sales Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Sales Executive with a pedigree in ERPM Cloud or HCM Cloud sales to join our expanding ERP sales team, based primarily in the UK.  The role has a strong entrepreneurial flavor and will suit an individual who has the drive to carve out their own ‘business within a business’ while having the support of a successful sales and marketing team behind them.  The role will especially suit a person who has previously built a successful sales career at a Systems Integrator/Managed Services Provider through the development of a strong partner channel with Oracle as a route to market as well as direct sales experience. 

You will be a natural, optimistic communicator who knows how to deliver excellence and is not afraid to roll your sleeves up to generate compelling SaaS or Hybrid SaaS propositions to meet the changing needs of our customers. Your role will have two core components -  selling advisory consulting and project services to deliver successful migration of Oracle and Non-Oracle ERPM\HCM systems to Oracle ERPM\HCM Cloud, and selling recurring ERPM\HCM cloud managed services to provide ongoing support to these customers ensuring they maximize return on their investment in Oracle Cloud ERPM\HCM.  You will naturally be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum direction to build a long term recurring relationship between the customer and Version 1. 


Role Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to help customers drive business and systems transformation using the power of cloud through:  

  • Working with Oracle ERPM & HCM Partner Teams, for the benefit of the customer, Version 1 and the partner.  
  • Account Management and development of selected customers from the existing Version 1 customer base, with a focus on road mapping the journey to ERPM \ HCM Cloud.   
  • Identification of new opportunities and markets for our ERPM\HCM propositions, Private and/or Public Sector through targeted marketing campaigns, events, and direct calling initiatives. 
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations and solution proposals and the active management of your forecast and the full sales cycle for each deal you deliver.  
  • Contract negotiation covering consulting services, fixed price development, and managed services contracts.   

Key Requirements:

  • 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, ideally at least 10 of which have been in ERP\HCM Sales and 3 in ERPM \ HCM Cloud.  
  • A clear and demonstrable track record of sales with the achievement of at least 3 out of the last 4 years on/exceeding the target.  
  • Pre-existing, meaningful relationships with management and your commercial counterparts in Oracle UK.

  • Ambitious, confident, enthusiastic individual with a “can-do” attitude
  • Native-level fluency in English.


  • Education: BA/BEng/BSc Hons degree preferred with a strong academic record.


  • Potential to work from any of our offices in Dublin, London, Redditch. Frequent travel will be required.
