Job Description

Due to on-going expansion, we have an exciting new role for an experienced Microsoft.Net Developer to work as part of Version 1’s Digital & Cloud Practice. You will be responsible for delivery of project components according to Functional Requirements Specifications. You must be comfortable with working to technical designs and perform unit testing, integration testing and supporting system testing.

You will have a proven track record of developing solutions for mid to enterprise level organisations, across multiple sectors. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast pace, can prioritise workload and is eager to gain industry experience. You will have solid background in the Microsoft .NET frameworks and associated technologies.

You must have 3 recent years full development life cycle experience in an agile environment, from Requirements Gathering, solutions Design, to unit-testing and exposure to TDD

·         Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework

·        Working Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS

·        Experience using source control and Continuous Integration (Team City, Octopus etc.)

·        Working knowledge of common Architecture Patterns like DDD and CQRS

·        Microsoft Certification is advantageous

·        Experience in cloud frameworks and platforms e.g. Microsoft Azure,

·        Exposure to Devops/Continuous Delivery

·        CSS frameworks e.g. Bootstrap

·        Agile methodologies e.g. SCRUM

·        RESTful web services

This is an opportunity to join one of the biggest Microsoft Digital Transformation Projects in Northern Ireland and join our growing Digital and Cloud Practice in Belfast.  As we grow and build this expert team in .Net/Azure Cloud we are looking ideally for permanent applications.

Roles will be based on a customer site in Belfast. Roles are envisaged to be full-time on-site.
