Oracle Apps Tech Cloud Consultant - Reporting

Job Description

Working as part of a team of managed services consultants, the primary role will be the development in and technical support of Oracle ERP cloud applications, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and client specific BIP Reports, OTBI Reports, FRS Reports and SmartView Reports.

Daily tasks include:

  • Provide day-to-day support and quality assurance.
  • Build BI Publisher reports and data models in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud involving financial and procurement modules.
  • Customize BI Publisher reports and data models in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud involving financial and procurement modules.
  • Build OTBI Reports in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Built Financial reporting studio reports in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Built SmartView reports in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Built Dashboards and analysis in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Built Data Visualization in Oracle Analytics Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Built Mobile Analytics in Oracle Analytics Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Create Data Replications in Oracle Analytics Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Create Data Sets, Data flows and Data Models in Oracle Analytics Cloud based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Implement Data Security and Row Level Security in Oracle Analytics Cloud using RPD based on client requirements and design document specifications.
  • Understand current and future Financial reporting needs and develop reporting solutions leveraging OAC capabilities.
  • Working with the Finance team map GL and operational data to build reporting solutions.
  • Configure OAC and build reports per specifications.
  • Design and develop analytics in OAC.
  • Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents and change work.
  • Document and manage technical specifications and software packages 
  • Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building 
  • Help ensure that ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes 
  • Manage on-time changes delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction 
  • Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM)
  • Complete development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices 

 

Qualifications
  • Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle E-Business support experience.
  • Should have experience in IDCS and Data security Using OAC and OBIEE
  • Should have experience in RPD merging catalog and RPD migration using OAC
  • Should have experience in complex Report & Dashboard development using OAC
  • Knowledge on Visualization using OAC
  • Knowledge on Loading custom data to OAC is desirable
  • Should be well versed with Data warehousing Dimension and fact tables and BI reporting concept
  • Hands on experience in implementing OBIEE
  • Good understanding of Oracle BI tools and technologies
  • Good Knowledge on building custom ESS jobs
  • Technical requirements: OAC Visualization, OAC Replication Flows, OAC Data Sets, OAC Data Models, OAC RPD, OAC Data Flows, OTBI Reports, FRS Reports, SmartView Reports, BIP Analysis, BIP Reports, Dashboards, BPM workflows, Application Composer, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script,  XML Publisher,  Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE/OBIA & Java core skills
  • Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions 
  • ITIL process Knowledge
  • Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customisations
  • Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent workload may be required.
