Job Description

In this role you'll need to lead the migration and upgrade the middleware components of several Java-based Oracle application stacks from on-premise to Microsoft Azure (Discovery, planning, design, migration and transition)

You'll work in a Version 1 team in an Agile way, supported by both the Managed Services Provider and our client. You'll have an understanding of the upgrade process and the Java upgrade that is needed to facilitate them. You'll also be involved with debugging both Linux and the Oracle Middleware stacks, automating WebLogic builds and championing automation, and overall streamlining the deployment.

Qualifications
  • Oracle WebLogic Servers 11g/12c (Expert level)
  • Red Hat Linux experience and Red Hat should be your current platform
  • Java experience including the ability to understand the code
  • WebLogic automation experience (At least one project recently)
  • Experience of developing using Python language 
  • Experience of developing script using Bash  
  • Experience of a Cloud Migration project using Azure, Oracle or AWS
  • Security Clearance Eligible 
  • An understanding of Agile and happy to work in this manner
