You will have the opportunity lead, oversee, and drive forward projects and develop your skillset within JD Edwards Enterprise One and JD Edwards World

 

Job Description

 

JD Edwards Functional Consultant

 

You will be:

 

  • A senior leader within the JD Edwards practice.
  • Responsible for leading the functional consulting team
  • Leading, overseeing and driving forward JD Edwards business projects according to client’s requirements
  • Acting Partner Manager / Service Delivery Manager at key Project clients
  • A point of escalation across your team of functional leads.
  • Supporting the development, management, and growth of the practice, bringing in people at all levels to deliver for customers. 
  • Developing a strong brand for the practice with customers as a team who delivers excellently and with employees as a great place to work.
  • Creating and developing solutions which meet customer challenges and understand the commercial balance required to deliver these solutions between top and bottom-line growth.
  • Helping shape and deliver of key proposals with the Commercial team and will be recognised by customers and colleagues as an authority in your domain and a solution-oriented leader.
  • Supporting the key strategic Version 1 initiatives of Cloud First, Managed Service 2.0
  • Meeting with existing and prospective clients
  • Presenting findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice 
  • Creating and developing detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes 
  • Creating scalable organisation structure 
  • Developing further SDC resource profile
  • Adhering to Version 1 standards and policies

 

Qualifications

 

You will have:

 

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards ideally Finance Consulting background
  • Knowledge of diverse business matters such as IT, Marketing, HR etc. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in a specialized business field will be an advantage 
  • Certified Management Consultant is a plus 
  • Excellent time management skills, able to work under pressure, can meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, solution driven environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels (internal & external).  Excellent spoken and written English
  • The ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
