Job Description

With recent significant wins, Version 1 now has the opportunity to see an unprecedented expansion in its Digital Technologies Capability across every level in the solution development and service deployment lifecycle and across all our major sectors – Financial Services, Public Sector, Commercial, and Utilities. We have a specific requirement for a Service Desk Consultant.

This is a Service Desk Level 2 role with the successful candidate joining the expanding Service Desk team working on-site with one of Version 1’s top managed service customers.

This candidate will also have a number of daily & weekly tasks such as health checks, security controls, backup management & service reporting.


You should be a strong generalist with minimum of two years' experience in a service desk or similar IT role. This candidate will be given an opportunity to develop their skills within the Service Desk and work with a wide range of technologies.

Experience with any of the following areas is an advantage:

  • VMWare/HyperV
  • Windows Server
  • Linux
  • Active Directory
  • Databases
  • Networks
  • Security
  • Commvault/Arcserve backup software
