Job Description

This role is a junior position in Version 1’s marketing team, responsible for content development and content support as well as managing content distribution through direct and digital channels, and PR.
This role will work very closely with the Content Marketing Manager, supporting the implementation of the content strategy and the broader Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent copywriting skills and a solid background in Communications. This position is ideal for a highly creative, enthusiastic, adaptable, and goal-oriented individual who wants to work in a fast -paced environment. Experience in social media management is a plus.

Candidates should have experience working in IT, or a strong passion in keeping up with the latest trends in technology.

Role Tasks / Key Deliverables

This is a hugely varied role in which no two days will be the same. Responsibilities of this role will include:
·       Supporting with writing or editing content such as sales collateral, emails, social media, newsletters, and blogs.

·       Reviewing, proofing and optimise outbound communication across all company platforms.

·       Brainstorming, creating and coordinating content intended for digital marketing and social media campaigns.

·       Acting as a brand guardian, proofreader and editor for content.

·       Updating and deploying content on a WordPress platform.

·       Designing images for social media using Photoshop – good eye for design required.


The successful candidate will have:
·       A previous background in producing content – ideally 1-3 years’ experience and preferably in B2B

·       Native or bilingual proficiency in English 

·       A BA or MSc in a related field such as Communications, Journalism or Public Relations

·       A very strong communicator, both written and verbal

·       Experience in IT or a passion for working in technology

·       Image production skills and Photoshop proficiency

·       Excellent interpersonal skills

·       Highly organised with great attention to detail

·       Resilient and able to work in a highly demanding environment 

·       Innovative and creative thinker with ability to initiate and manage own projects with outstanding execution 

·       Eager to learn new things, explore opportunities and find solutions with the resources available
