Job Description
  • Ability to champion standard processing but the flexibility to adjust to client specific business processes that are in conflict with standard oracle.
  • Ability to resolve testing issues and add value through identifying root causes, delivering fixes and identifying ongoing ways of improving current delivered functionality in a manner that minimises or removes risk from the project delivery.
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion
  • Support UAT defect issues through JIRA
  • Providing end user application and functionality training
  • Be the champion for the client and for Version1 and for best practise
  • Good understanding of the P2P business environment: Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, Payments, Taxation.
  • Knowledge of Inventory, Cost Management, SLA experience an advantage
  • Experienced E-Business financials consultant with at least 8-10 years in the delivery of E-Business projects for clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of other functional areas e.g. SCM an advantage
  • First hand implementation experience and expert level knowledge required in the 5 modules below:
    • General Ledger
    • Fixed Assets
    • Account Receivables
    • Account Payables
    • Cash Management
  • At least 4-5 full cycle implementation projects all the way from requirements to go-live. Understand the nature of delivery of projects in a consulting environment.
  • Understands in detail the financial processes flows, specifically, Account to Close (A2C).
  • Experience in leading Chart of Accounts design, with consideration for legal requirements, reporting requirements etc.
  • Expert in using supporting technologies including:
    • Config Snapshot
    • webADI
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA would be an advantage
  • Oracle Certifications would be an advantage
  • Understanding of IFRS and US(and other) GAAP and consolidation accounting principles
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Oracle ERP cloud experience would be an advantage.


  • Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experienced as a team lead and able to hold team and self accountable for deadlines, deliverables and quality of work. The ability to manage their own and teams workload and prioritise tasks as required.
  • Experienced in working in a onshore and remote (Offshore) environment.
  • Comfortable to talk to senior level stakeholders (both client and internal) and conduct workshops and challenge on customer expectations/requirements.
  • Able to independently drive agenda in impactful financials workshops to get the desired outcomes.
  • Able to independently configure the Oracle E-business suite based on requirements.
  • Able to independently write design documents and drive approvals from stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues to a high standard with attention to detail critical in all aspects of output.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Be an ambitious, proactive and a team player.
