In this role, you will be working with a busy Project and Managed Service team, engaging with Infrastructure and Applications project teams planning releases. The role will be a challenging one and require someone that is committed to problem solving, upskilling and taking on a variety of technical challenges covering a broad spectrum of technologies. A commitment to upskilling and taking on new technologies across the Stack is essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline on Jenkins
• Experience with Gitlab, Nexus, SonarQube, Clair and Docker desirable and /or commitment to upskill
• Release Management: Designing, Executing and Coordinating the release procedures of multiple microservices across the release pipeline, working with internal Infrastructure and application teams, plus third party and customer engagement. 
• API Configuration Management: Configuring Docker images and OpenShift namespaces
• Involvement in multiple projects on both infrastructure and development practice
• Knowledge of API, Identity & Access Management: Utilizing RedHat SSO and 3Scale API Gateway to manage access to both internal and external services. 
• Knowledge of and commitment to learn Network Management: Reviewing firewall rules, HTTPs and TCP communication between internal hosts and internet access
• Limited Out of Hours work
• Strong consistent communicator and organiser
• Java, Spring Hibernate, SQL, Hazelcast nice to have but not essential

• A highly motivated individual with a consultancy and solution orientated mindset
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience of Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines
• Qualification in Computer Science / Computer Engineering OR equivalent work experience
• Infrastructure Code experience using Ansible scripts desirable
• Kubernetes and Docker experience 
• Experience in Python, Jira, Confluence would be preferable but not essential
