Strong SQL skills

· Experience planning major changes

· Experience developing ETL solutions (preferably using SSIS)

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft database development, including T-SQL

· Ability to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format custom dashboards/reports

· Experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions

· Experience with manual testing to include user acceptance testing (UAT)

· Ability to multi-task across concurrent projects may be required.

· Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork

· Experience and demonstrated competencies with multi-dimensional design, star schemas, facts and dimensions.

• A range of engagements such as new implementations, support, version upgrades, new module implementation, health-checks and enhancement of existing systems.

  · Gathering and analysing data requirements

  · Creating new ETL procedures and amending existing ones

  · Designing and developing SSRS and Power BI visualisations, dashboards and reports as per business needs

  · Ensuring effective interactive dashboards for visual analytics (content, functionality, performance, presentation)

  · Designing efficient data models from multiple data sources

  · Deploying dashboards/reports to production

  · Creating and maintaining documentation for developed reports

  · Delivering and presenting proofs of concept to of key technology components to project stakeholders.

  · Working with other members of the project team to support delivery of additional project components

Nice to have:

· BI and Analytics professional experience across a range of technologies including Microsoft PowerBI, Python and SQL development, with experience in building complex PowerBI dashboards.

· 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BI tools (Reporting Services, Analysis Services, PowerBI)

· Practical experience using Python data transformation or processing (Spark and Delta Lake).

· Hands on experience designing and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics.
