Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Developer with a strong background in the Insurance Domain (preferably Life , Accident  ,Health Insurance) . The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in Java development, expertise in ReactJS, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. The candidate should be comfortable working across both product development and services contexts and should be familiar with technologies like Oracle, Docker containerization, TypeScript, Spring Boot, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git), Agile development methodologies, JavaScript test frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Jasmine), OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design), and Data Modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand software requirements, particularly in the insurance domain context.

•            Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions using Java, ReactJS, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.

•            Build and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices to ensure seamless communication between various components.

•            Develop responsive user interfaces that deliver an exceptional user experience across different devices and browsers.

•            Implement and optimize database interactions using technologies like Oracle, ensuring data integrity and performance.

•            Leverage AWS services to deploy, monitor, and scale applications in a cloud environment.

•            Utilize Docker containerization for packaging and deployment of applications.

•            Implement Spring Boot framework for efficient backend development.

•            Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.

•            Write unit tests using frameworks like JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.

•            Contribute to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

•            Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.

•            Implement JavaScript test frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Jasmine to ensure frontend functionality.

•            Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles to develop scalable and maintainable software solutions.

•            Create and maintain data models to support application functionality and database interactions.

Skills & Experience Required:

•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

•            Proven experience (8+ years) working as a Full Stack Java Developer in both product development and services settings.

•            Strong proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).

•            3+ years of Hands-on experience with front-end development using ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries.

•            Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and others relevant to application deployment and maintenance.

•            Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

•            Experience working in the insurance domain, understanding key concepts and business processes, is highly desirable.

•            Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and designing database schemas using Oracle or similar databases.

•            Experience with Docker containerization, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git), and unit testing frameworks (JUnit).

•            Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

•            Knowledge of JavaScript test frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and Jasmine.

•            Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles.

•            Experience with Spring Boot framework for backend development.

•            Proficiency in data modelling and database design.

•            Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

•            Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
