Job Description

Version 1’s Apprenticeship will push you beyond your barriers. Our inaugural programme is designed to expose you to cutting edge technologies to continue to deliver high quality services for our customers.

At Version 1, we've partnered with Belfast Met to offer a unique apprenticeship that enhances your IT skills and leads to industry-recognised certifications. This earn-while-you-learn program is perfect for those interested in a career in Technology, providing an alternative to traditional university education. During the program, apprentices spend 80% of their time on real-world projects that reshape the way we connect with the world, and 20% on formal training covering essential technical and soft skills. 

From day one, our apprentices are paired with dedicated managers and mentors who are committed to their success, fostering daily support and a strong connection to Version 1's community and culture. 

Our commitment is to shape your future and ignite your technology career within a thriving work environment. This program comprises a 30-month apprenticeship that, upon successful completion, opens the door for you to interview for a permanent role as an Associate Consultant. This is followed by an additional 18-month structured progression plan to further propel your journey within Version 1.

Do you have a passion for Microsoft? This is an excellent opportunity to nurture your career. 

You will collaborate with a team responsible for business development, solution design/development for enterprise customers, and contributing to the ongoing growth of our Microsoft capability.  

*Here’s what we’ll be looking for: 

  • A strong interest & some knowledge of Microsoft Technologies 
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in any ICT or STEM subject 
  • Eligible to work in the UK  
  • Eligible for SC Clearance (Have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and not left the UK for longer than 3 months).
  • An added bonus if you have previous IT work experience 
  • Willingness to travel across the Version 1 organisation is a key requirement, with the office based in Belfast
