Business Analyst – Outsystems

You will help define and deliver a series of diverse key projects with the team. This role presents a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who is enthusiastic about closer connection with our customer’s core business.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project involvement from leading workshops through to design and delivery phases.
- Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and systems specifications.
- Produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents.
- Stakeholder management across all levels from c-suite through to on-the-ground developers both internally and with clients.
- Support UAT during all phases of testing to ensure that the solutions are ready for release.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the OutSystems platform is utilized effectively to meet business requirements.
- Leverage low-code platforms, particularly OutSystems, to design and develop enterprise applications.
- Create, maintain, and integrate RESTful APIs to connect various business systems and applications.
- Optimize existing applications and establish technical standards for low-code development.
Qualifications
- 3+ years Business Analysis experience within a Consultancy or Services Provider.
- Proven track record in producing high-quality Business Requirements Documents, Business Processes Mapping, and documentation skills.
- Agile Delivery experience and has worked within an Agile delivery team.
- Digital or Application Modernisation Project experience.
- Experience in reviewing Functional Specification Documents produced by peers (Peer Review) to ensure they align with Business Requirements Specification documents.
- Experience with OutSystems platform and its capabilities.
- Has worked on both large-scale and smaller projects and has been responsible for defining and designing business solutions.
- An understanding of technology and IT systems.
- Good project management skills with the ability to plan and schedule own work and work towards tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills — be able to explain complicated processes and concepts to non-experts.
- Experience in low-code development platforms (such as OutSystems, Mendix, or Power Platform).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.) is a plus.
