Migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n The company needed to move the JD Edwards hosting away from on-premise data centre and on to a cloud-based platform. OCI was chosen in line with Atkins\u2019 Cloud-first strategy, enhancing its performance, availability and scalability, as well as providing a lower TCO.<\/p>\n Upgrading JD Edwards<\/strong><\/p>\n Atkins had been using JD Edwards for several years. The decision was made to upgrade to the latest version of the software to 9.2, as well as a technical upgrade of the SOA instances.
