Version 1 has announced the establishment of a new Digital Development Hub in Belfast<\/strong>, alongside the creation of 70 specialist technology roles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

The Digital Development Hub was established to support growing customer demand for digital and cloud services across both public and private sector organisations in the UK and internationally.<\/p>\n

Having first established operations in Belfast in 2012, the expansion formed part of Version 1’s continued growth strategy, increasing local headcount to approximately 200 employees by October 2021.<\/p>\n

Supporting Growing Demand for Digital and Cloud Services<\/h5>\n

The announcement followed a strong sales pipeline and several significant customer wins, including a nearshore software development engagement for a global wealth management organisation operating across 28 countries.<\/p>\n

The Belfast Digital Development Hub was created to deliver a range of digital, cloud and engineering services for customers and offered opportunities across several specialist technology disciplines, including:<\/p>\n

  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)<\/li>\n
  • Data Engineering<\/li>\n

  • Delivery Management<\/li>\n
  • Scrum Master Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The investment reflected Version 1’s commitment to growing its digital and cloud delivery capabilities while strengthening Northern Ireland’s position as a technology hub.<\/p>\n

    Tom O’Connor, CEO of Version 1, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Version 1 highlighted the strategic importance of Belfast as a delivery location for customers seeking highly skilled technical resources and scalable digital delivery capabilities.<\/p>\n
