Robotic Process Automation

Unearthing the potential of RPA

How can RPA make a difference to our customer's businesses?

Within the digital transformation era, industries today are reporting that their task forces are operating about 80% of their IT processes manually, affecting performance and motivation. At the same time, its estimated that at least 50% of these tasks could be automated. While some companies may think about automating just their IT processes, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) also aims to help reinvent the way they do business, increasing customer satisfaction and strengthening work value.

Version 1 Innovation Labs have teamed up with Cafcass, a non-departmental public body in England, to utilise RPA to drive efficiencies throughout the organisation. The Innovation Labs is developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), demonstrating how RPA might work in an organisation and enable Cafcass to better understand the potential time and money savings, not to mention reduction in potential human error naturally associated with data input automation.

What is Robotic Process Automation?

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a form of business process automation which, at its heart, scripts and automates the interactions with business systems. This innovative form of business process automation technology is best suited to processes with clear and straightforward rules.  However, advanced forms of RPA tools also use Artificial Intelligence to enable scripting of processes with more complicated rules, or those that may require interpretation or intelligence.

Use Cases

Below are some examples that RPA can be applied across to automate processes:

Supply Chain Management
Human Resource Management
Healthcare
Financial Services
Accounting
Customer Service
