‘Maximising’ Iarnród Éireann’s Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation

Version 1 will deliver this implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM (which streamlines HR processes for payroll, diversity, and workforce management) through a close strategic partnership which will enable Iarnród Éireann to put modern, reliable, and user-friendly systems in place as part of its forward-thinking People Strategy for 2027.

The modernisation, automation and streamlined User Experience associated with this solution will have a significant impact on areas such and Learning and Development in Iarnród Éireann, with a focus on automating procedures in the rail service’s highly regulated safety-critical environment to ensure compliance in a setting with 600 courses, 200 competencies, 100 external course suppliers, and 100 course trainers/assessors.

With the vast majority of people-focused processes and procedures automated, Iarnród Éireann will be able to focus on what matters most; attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent, developing the workforce to meet the rail industry’s growing demands for new skills, proactively monitoring and managing regulatory compliance and reducing the administrative burden and associated overheads and bottlenecks causing frustration to staff, removing the headache of manual tasks for staff with easy-to-use self-service capability.
