Version 1 Listed on the Scottish Digital Technology Services DPS

Version 1 is pleased to announce that we have been appointed to the Scottish Government Digital Technology Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), for the provision of digital technology services to Public Sector organisations in Scotland.

The DPS replaces the Digital and Technology Services (DATS) framework from 2015, supporting and enabling a number of Scotland’s digital initiatives. The framework provides access to a range of digital technology skills for Scotland’s Public Sector organisations, including supporting the delivery of agile projects. The service is split into three lots, with Version 1 now approved to supply across the following:

• Lot 1 – Digital Technology Projects
• Lot 2 – Digital Technology Resources

The benefits of this service for Scottish Public Sector organisations include; access to a wide range of digital technology suppliers, easy access for suppliers, encouraging competition and SME participation, suppliers can join the DPS at any time, provided they meet the selection criteria, completely electronic process and streamlined procurement. Version 1 has previously worked with a range of Scottish Public Sector organisations, such as Ofgem, Student Loans Company, Heriot-Watt University and Aberdeenshire Council.

Version 1 has recently been awarded a two-year key application support contract by ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service), a Crown non-departmental public body in the UK. The contract reflects Version 1’s commitment to ensuring excellence within Digital Government, as well as the company’s growth in the UK Public Sector.

As a leading UK partner to Microsoft, AWS and Oracle, Version 1 has been appointed to a range of UK Government Frameworks, which include Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 (DOS4), G-Cloud 11, Technology Services 2, NHS Cloud Solutions and now the Scotland – Digital Technology Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
