Version 1 wins Most effective Engagement Strategy Award

On Thursday, 3rd March 2016 at the Ballsbridge Hotel, the cream of Ireland's HR industry were recognised and celebrated in front of an audience of over 350 industry professionals. Hosted by the hilarious Irish comedian Colm O’Regan, 17 prestigious trophies were presented to the very best leaders and thinkers at the cutting-edge of HR in Ireland.   Version 1 won the award for the “Most effective Engagement Strategy” for our 'Engagement is Going Local' initiative. This furthers Version 1’s commitment for building a Great Place to Work and is testament to our Engagement team and the strategy they have implemented in the last year. The premise underpinning our Engagement Strategy is that small, localised group with common interests are far better positioned to build a best workplace than somebody in HQ rolling out a corporate programme.   It has yielded real progress in 2015 and we are confident that 2016 will see it progress even further.  As a fast growing organisation, the focus on engagement has never been more important and awards like the HR & Leadership awards and Great Place to Work are a great benchmark for Version 1 to have.   The HR Leadership & Management Awards 2016 celebrate excellence in HR and recognise that it will be key to the future economic prosperity of the Irish economy. These awards have been launched to recognise the emerging role of HR as a strategic management tool which, if correctly aligned with organisational business objectives, will underpin both business profitability and sustainability.
