Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Awards recognises partners at the country level that have demonstrated business excellence in delivering Microsoft services and solutions to mutual customers during the past year. Version 1 was recognised as Application Development Partner of the Year for the innovative Application solutions with a variety of customers on multiple platforms with an increasing emphasis on Cloud and mobility solutions.
Speaking at the Award Ceremony,
Kieran McDonnell, Group Partner Sales and Business Solutions Manager, Microsoft Ireland highlighted some of the excellent projects developed by the Version 1 team in the past year:
- Delivering the largest Public Sector solution on Microsoft Dynamics CRM in 2015.
- Winning Tech Excellence 'Project of the Year Award for Public Sector’ 2015 with SEAI for the implementation of a national system to record & maintain all energy efficiency measures undertaken in the state. It was the first PaaS implementation for a public sector authority and it further illustrates commitment to eGovernment on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Consistently building significant Analytics and BI Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI.
Version 1 has been working in the Microsoft technology arena since 2006 and today is recognised as one of the most competent partners in the UK and Irish markets as the largest and most experienced Microsoft Partner in Ireland and in the top tier in the UK for competencies earned. Version 1 is Gold Partner across 9 of 14 different competencies, with broad and deep expertise across the Microsoft platforms and solutions. Version 1 can look beyond specific requirements to underlying customer issues and identify integrated solutions that leverage the entire technology stack.
