Version 1 has been accredited the Cloud Standard

A close-up of a human hand held open with a glowing cloud icon hovering above the palm. Inside the cloud shape is a semi-transparent globe showing continents, symbolising global cloud computing. The background features a blurred office-like setting with a network of light lines and nodes, representing digital connectivity and data flow. The overall colour palette includes cool tones of blue and purple with bright highlights around the cloud.

Version 1 has achieved Oracle Cloud Standard status, recognising the company’s expertise, investment and success in helping organisations adopt Oracle Cloud services.

The Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Cloud Programme enables partners to demonstrate their skills and capabilities across Oracle Cloud technologies while differentiating themselves through Oracle’s cloud applications and platform services.

To achieve the Oracle Cloud Standard designation, Version 1 demonstrated:

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Services
  • Certified Oracle Cloud capabilities
  • Successful delivery of Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Influence on Oracle Cloud subscriptions across multiple global organisations

This recognition further strengthens Version 1’s position as one of the leading Oracle partners across the UK and Ireland.

Oracle Cloud Managed Services Partner Programme

Version 1 was also accredited under the Oracle Cloud Managed Services Partner Programme, a global initiative designed to recognise Oracle partners with the certifications, technical expertise and cloud sales capabilities required to manage customers’ Oracle Cloud environments.

The programme allows accredited partners to manage a customer’s complete Oracle Cloud relationship, including support services, under a managed services model.

Benefits of the programme include:

  • Access to Oracle product management teams
  • Access to development and testing environments
  • Enhanced support capabilities
  • Preferential commercial arrangements for customers
  • End-to-end Oracle Cloud management services

Commenting on the achievement, Ken McMahon, Head of Oracle Integration at Version 1, said:

“The Oracle Cloud Managed Services Partner Programme allows us to incorporate Oracle Cloud subscriptions within the broader Version 1 Managed Services contract.

At the time of accreditation, there were only 28 partners globally accredited to the programme and just two across the UK and Ireland. Version 1 was also the first EMEA partner to complete a customer transaction through the Managed Services Partner Programme.”

The accreditation highlighted Version 1’s ability to support customers throughout the entire Oracle Cloud lifecycle, from procurement and migration through to operational support and ongoing optimisation.

Strengthening the Oracle Partnership

Joe McGlynn, Head of Oracle Capability at Version 1, commented:

“Version 1’s extensive experience and long-standing partnership with Oracle has reached a new level through acceptance into the Oracle Cloud Partnership Programme.

This recognition enables us to bring state-of-the-art cloud capabilities and support services to our customers while helping them maximise value from their Oracle investments.”
