Version 1enabled the client to successfully deploy 140 services to production, the success of this acceleration created a set of new stability and security challenges for them.The key to solving these new challenges was to prioritise operational stability above features and encourage adoption of best practices aroundsecurity.

There is no longer a need to have a dedicated server, storage,networkingor database admin if the software developers are empowered to do everything themselves.Since joining the project, therehas been a 74.91% reduction in the time from project creation to first successful deployment in production – 253 days in 2018 to 63.6 days in 2020, with the trend continuing to improve.
