London/Dublin, 23rd April 2026 – Version 1, a global leader in AI-driven technology services today announced the appointments of Sarita Sudera as Chief Commercial Officer and David Churchill as Chief People Officer, strengthening the executive team at a pivotal moment for the business as it scales to meet growing client demand.

Sarita Sudera joins from Accenture where she served as Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Health and Public Sector across the UK and Ireland. Her experience also includes senior client leadership roles in Financial Services, Energy and Utilities. In this role, Sarita has oversight of Version 1’s entire commercial function, working closely with the leadership team to accelerate the company’s go-to-market strategy, strengthen existing client partnerships and open new avenues for growth. She will play a central role in shaping how Version 1 positions itself in the market and how it continues to deliver value to clients.

David Churchill was appointed CPO earlier in the year, joining from Endava, where he was a member of the executive team and led the people function during a period of rapid international growth. David is responsible for the global people function, elevating a unified global strategy for people and talent and nurturing an organisational culture and employee engagement that underpin the company’s ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes at scale.

Alongside the two external hires, Version 1 has reshaped its wider executive leadership team from within. Anna Murphy has taken on the newly created role of Chief of Staff, Olivia Carroll has been appointed Group Operations Director, and Ger O’Sullivan will assume the newly created role of Chief Customer Success Officer. Together, these moves empower leaders who already know the business, its culture and its clients combined with fresh perspectives from outside, to give the organisation the right team in the right roles for its next chapter.

The appointments come at a time of strong commercial momentum. Version 1 continues to invest in job creation following earlier growth announcements of 250 new roles in Dublin and 440 in Belfast, driven by increased client demand and recent wins across all sectors.
“We are seeing strong and growing demand from clients who are looking for trusted partners to help them deliver real value from AI-driven transformation programmes,” said Roop Singh, CEO at Version 1. “These leadership appointments strengthen our ability to execute with discipline, scale sustainably and maintain the momentum we have built across our markets. Each of these leaders brings deep experience, trusted judgement and a strong connection to our culture, ensuring we remain focused on consistent delivery for our clients while positioning Version 1 for the next phase of growth.”

Sarita Sudera, CCO at Version 1 said: “After nearly three decades supporting large organisations through complex technology transformations, what drew me to Version 1 was something I rarely see — a company that has scaled significantly without losing its clarity, curiosity, and genuine care for clients and its people. That combination is incredibly rare and commercially powerful. My focus will be on ensuring the market sees what I saw from the outside: a partner that doesn’t just talk about outcomes but relentlessly focuses on delivering them.”

David Churchill, CPO at Version 1 said: “What excited me about Version 1 was the opportunity to build a truly global people strategy for a business that genuinely puts its culture at the centre of everything it does. As we grow across new markets and geographies, the challenge isn’t just scaling headcount, it’s making sure every person who joins this company has the environment, development and opportunities to do the best work of their career. That’s how you deliver for clients consistently, and it’s how you build something that lasts.”

With a strengthened leadership team in place, Version 1 enters its next chapter with the scale, expertise and ambition to build on strong market traction. As organisations across the public and private sectors look for partners who can turn the promise of AI into measurable results, Version 1 is building the team to lead this.
