Our team attended Microsoft FabCon in Barcelona last week, Microsoft’s flagship event dedicated to their Fabric product. With a packed agenda of product announcements, roadmap updates and community-led sessions, the event offered valuable insight into how Microsoft’s unified data platform continues to evolve.

Over four days, we fully immersed ourselves in the partner and community experience, hearing about:

  • New and upcoming Fabric features
  • Enhancements to existing Fabric features
  • Ways of working with Fabric across other partners, including Databricks and Snowflake

Among the many announcements, several stood out for their potential to help organisations accelerate data modernisation and maximise the value of Microsoft Fabric:

Beyond the product announcements, FabCon once again highlighted the strength of the Microsoft Fabric community. The quality of the partner, customer and community-led sessions demonstrated how quickly organisations are innovating on the platform and sharing best practice across the ecosystem.

A particular highlight was Microsoft’s #WomenInData session, which showcased the diverse experiences and career journeys of women across the data industry and reinforced the importance of building an inclusive and thriving data community.

We’re excited to see how these latest developments continue to shape the Microsoft Fabric landscape and, most importantly, how they can help our customers accelerate their data and AI ambitions.
