Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant
Job Description
You will be based within the managed service, overseeing support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
In addition, you will have opportunities to work on projects within Oracle Cloud.
You will be expected to be able to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to resolve networking issues within Oracle Cloud.
Qualifications
You will have experience in the following areas:
Required:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-23)
- OCI support, including user management, IAM policies, and AD SSO integrations
- Experience with IPSec VPNs, network routing, and security group issues in OCI
- CloudGuard experience and alert resolution
- DevOps skills, particularly Terraform scripting
- Basic Linux administrative skills (training provided for less experienced candidates)
Desirable:
- Oracle Linux Certification and ITIL Foundation
- Advanced DevOps skills (Terraform for full infrastructure builds, Ansible for Linux configurations)
- FastConnect configuration experience
- Oracle Database knowledge (basic experience with TNS connections and database links)
- Experience with JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, or Oracle Integration Cloud
