Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Principal to join our India Delivery Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of multiple technology stacks, including full stack .Net (e.g., Angular and .Net), full stack Java (ReactJS and Java), Python. Handson experience of engineering or administration of at least one of the cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is mandatory. Experience of Data Platform Designs and implementation such as Databricks, Snowflake and Cloud native platforms will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of AI use to enhance engineering productivity and Experience and enthusiasm around AI Solution Architecture to drive functional designs bringing business advantages through AI use for our customer solutions will make the candidate stand out. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong design and architecture experience, technical delivery leadership and excellent customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.

· Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

· Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical pre-sales support.

· Project Turnaround: Demonstrate experience in leading complex technical deliveries and turning around red projects to green.

· Debugging and Troubleshooting: Exhibit strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across various technology stacks.

· Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation within the team and run innovation labs out of the India Delivery Center. Trigger innovation ideas aligned with business and technical drivers, elaborate on innovation backlog items, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders.

· Technical Reviews , Gap Analysis and Corrective Actions: Conduct technical reviews, solution reviews, and reviews of delivery processes, CI/CD, low-level technical tasks, backlogs, dependencies among epics and stories, estimations, tools used, artifacts delivered, codes written, test cases, and testing processes. Identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and prioritize these actions with project teams, delivery managers, and customers to ensure on-time and quality delivery.

· Pre-Sales Support: Participate in pre-sales technical support to develop solutions and estimates in collaboration with capability units, the commercial team, and the pre-sales team.

· Technical Interviews: Participate as technical interviewers to support team ramp-up.

· Technical Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to various engineering teams across different seniority levels including Tech Leads, Senior Developers, Junior Developers, Early Careers Associates and Interns.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 12+ years of work experience with a minimum 5+ years as technical leader or technical architect team.

· Has clear understanding of different kinds of project types (T&M, Fixed Price, Outcome based) , delivery models, team structure / team role compositions and delivery methodologies in small, medium and large transformation projects.

· A strong background in one or more of multiple technology stacks, including full stack .Net (e.g., Angular and .Net), full stack Java (ReactJS and Java), Python.

· Handson experience of engineering or administration of at least one of the cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is mandatory.

· Experience of Data Platform Designs and implementation such as Databricks, Snowflake and Cloud native platforms will be an added advantage.

· Strong understanding of OOPs concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns such as MVVM and component-based and microservices architecture.

· Strong experience in branching and merging the source code branches to manage the development workflow efficiently.

· Experience with CI/CD , DevOps tool chains and observability tool chains.

· Hands-on experience developing complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views in Oracle or PostgreSQL or DB2 or SQL Server.

· Strong experience in resolving application performance issues.

· Strong experience in requirements analysis , backlog grooming

· Strong experience in estimations of complex software delivery.

· Experience in preparing functional and technical architecture and high level design documents and low-level design documents

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Willingness to work in the UK shift to collaborate with international teams and clients.

· A matured techno delivery leader who have high flexibility and adaptability to fast pace growth and a performance oriented KRA and metrics based transparent and collaborative work culture.
