Version 1 Reports Excellent Performance in 2010

Version 1, Ireland's leading IT consulting and outsourced managed services company, reports a turnover of €17.5M in 2010; a 13% increase on 2009. Recently filed accounts indicate that gross profit is up 12% and operating profit is in excess of €1.2M.
Commenting on Version 1's performance, Managing Director Justin Keatinge, said "We saw significant growth in our existing customer base, took on 40 new customers and secured some important new business wins, particularly in the Financial Services and Public Sectors." He went on to say, "This year we expect to grow by a further 30%. Last year, saw us acquire the business and assets of PM Group’s IT services arm PM Centrix, which yielded a strong pipeline to new business in the Munster region."
The Company currently employs 250 staff, up from 170 in year end 2009. Keatinge indicated that Version 1 is launching a recruitment drive shortly to meet expected growth targets this year.
Headquartered in Dublin, Version 1 has offices in Cork and Belfast. Privately funded since its inception in 1996, Version 1's major shareholders are founders Justin Keatinge, John Mullen and company director Tom O'Connor. Accountant Anthuan Xavier is chairman of the company.
