Version 1 Ranks in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for the Eighth Year

Version 1 today announced that it ranked in the 2010 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Version 1 has ranked in the Fast 50 eight years in a row; displaying steady and consistent growth during this period.
Version 1's Managing Director, Justin Keatinge, credits the company's success with its focus on delivering business benefit to its customers. He said, "Despite very tough economic conditions, Version 1 continues to perform very well; projected turnover for 2010 is €17.5M and operating profit has risen by close to 50%. We have seen significant growth in our Outsourced Managed Services business as Irish organisations seek to optimise costs, drive efficiencies and improve performance. We have also won a number of application development deals as customers seek to leverage Microsoft technologies like SharePoint and Dynamics XRM to deliver cost-effective and scalable solutions."
The Fast 50 programme, now in its eleventh year in Ireland, ranks the fastest-growing technology companies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Announcing the winners of the Technology Fast 50 programme, David O'Flanagan, Partner, Deloitte said: "In spite of the challenging financial market conditions, the 2010 Deloitte Fast 50 shows that Irish technology companies are continuing to show impressive growth."
The awards took place in The Europa Hotel in Belfast on November 12th. Industry figures speaking at the event included Niall Olden, Managing Partner, Kernel Capital, John Hartnett, President and Founder, Irish Technology Leadership Group and David Halstead, Partner, Deloitte.
