Version 1 ranks in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 seven years in a row

Version 1 today announced its successful inclusion in the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years. Version 1 grew 300 percent during this period.
Version 1 attributes its growth to focus on delivering Value to Business
Version 1 Managing Director Justin Keatinge credits the company's success to its focus on delivering business benefit to its customers. He said, "We've always had a very strong customer base in the public sector, but in the last few years we have grown the business across a number of other sectors including financial services, utilities, healthcare and education. Despite the downturn, Version 1 has taken on 16 new clients in 2009 and projected revenues are on target."
Announcing the winners of the Technology Fast 50 programme, David O'Flanagan, Partner, Deloitte, Dublin said: "The aim of this year’s Fast 50 was to showcase the resilience and determination of Ireland’s indigenous technology industry and this has certainly been achieved. Our winners show that they are rising above the challenging business environment and are proof that inventive companies will continue to be successful."
The awards took place in Clontarf Castle on October 15th. Industry figures speaking at the event included Paul Rellis, Managing Director, Microsoft Ireland; Michael Dwyer, Founder and CEO, Empathy Marketing Limited (Pigsback.com); and Jim Sloane, Lead Technology Partner and Vice Chairman, Deloitte UK.
