Job Description

Highly technical in nature and with a proven track record in solution delivery, the Senior Integration Test Analyst/Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and executing system integration tests in an Oracle eBusiness and custom development environment in line with agreed plans and strategies.  As a senior member of a highly collaborative, dynamic test team, the Senior Integration Test Analyst/Lead will provide knowledge, mentoring, leadership, and expertise to other team members, as well as ensuring the quality of their own and the team’s output is of a consistently high standard.

The role requires the successful candidate to work closely with client and third party test teams to ensure the target solution and architecture is tested comprehensively from a System Integration Test perspective.


  • Responsible for the integration testing of a highly integrated, enterprise level Oracle eBusiness implementation as part of the wider System Integration Test phase
  • Assess and analyse the integration test requirements for the programme and work technical and business stakeholders to fulfil the requirements
  • Propose and select appropriate integration test tools and methods to be used
  • Document and execute high quality test plans for System Integration Testing across a highly integrated Oracle eBusiness suite implementation
  • Analyse complex requirements and review acceptance criteria to ensure they are for fit for purpose, testable and can have tests developed to explicitly test and guide acceptance
  • Create comprehensive and well defined System Integration test scripts that are traceable back to requirements
  • Test execution of integration test scripts and working with functional testers to ensure the end to end business process is tested fully
  • Lead/participate in defect triage discussions and challenge development perception of severity
  • Co-ordination of test activities and work as part of a team
  • Interrogate the underlying databases to extract test data and execute SQL statements to aid testing and prove test results
  • Contribute to management reporting including appropriate test metrics on planning, defects, and execution
  • Support the UAT test phase and ensure integration defects are resolved
  • Ensure regression testing is performed in a manner that recognizes the risks of introducing defects into the environment
  • Escalate risks and issues to the appropriate level to ensure resolution
  • Support test management in developing project plans and track against key milestone dates.



Required Skills/Experience 

  • 8+ years software test experience is a highly integrated application development environment
  • Demonstrable experience using integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, ESB or equivalent
  • Experience testing webservices, API testing and FTP/SFTP
  • Experience of Oracle eBusiness suite or other enterprise ERP solutions is an advantage
  • Experience of testing across the full software development life cycle
  • Excellent SQL and database interrogation skills
  • Experience of master data management and data preparation for enterprise level integration testing
  • Familiarisation with data obfuscation techniques
  • Experience of integration testing from cloud to cloud, cloud to ground and ground to cloud
  • Experience of working collaboratively with SaaS and IPaaS third party test teams
  • Demonstrable capability to plan, develop and deliver enterprise level integration testing on significant system implementation projects
  • Proven exposure to test systems such as JIRA, Quality Centre, QMetry, Confluence etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
  • A self-starter with an ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to react dynamically to changing priorities and requirements
  • Must be very proactive and positive individual

This is a fixed term 9month contract with travel (when possible). Expenses will be covered. DublinBelfastBirmingham office or London office base but all remote working currently
