Job Description

As the Internal Communications Lead, you will be a key driver within the Communication and Engagement function in fostering effective communication within Version 1. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Communication and Engagement, the Internal Communications Content & Design Lead and the Internal Communications Event Coordinator to ensure consistent, engaging, and impactful internal messaging. Your role will involve crafting compelling narratives, enhancing employee engagement and acting as custodian of our corporate values and culture.

The ideal candidate should be highly driven, fun to work alongside, passionate, humble yet hungry and passionate about what they do.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Communication Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with Version 1s’s vision and business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
    • Ensure alignment between internal messaging and external communication.
  2. Content Creation and Delivery:
    • Craft clear, concise, and engaging content for internal communications, including intranet posts, emails, newsletters, and announcements.
    • Collaborate with the Content & Design Lead to maintain a consistent tone and style.
  3. Employee Engagement:
    • Foster a positive and informed work environment by keeping employees updated on company news, initiatives, and changes.
    • Work closely with the Internal Communications Event Coordinator to promote engagement through events, town halls, and workshops.
  4. Support Organisational Development:
    • Support the Organisational Development team with organisational change initiatives by communicating effectively with employees on Diversity & Inclusion, Education & Enablement, Occupational Health, and Leadership Empowerment.
  5. Measurement and Feedback:
    • Monitor the effectiveness of communication campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Gather feedback from employees to continuously improve communication processes.
  6. Intranet Management:
    • Manage internal communications on our intranet platform, Viva Engage, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for employees.
    • Collaborate with our Support Services team to enhance the functionality and user experience of our internal communications platforms.
Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in internal communications and evidence to support this.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business.
  • People skills to engage a diverse audience/ workforce.
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from Dublin.
