The Gold Standard Deloitte Best Managed Companies award was presented to Version 1 at a gala dinner in Dublin, Ireland, on the 6th March 2015. The awards, held in association with Barclays Bank Ireland, recognise indigenous Irish companies operating at the highest levels of business performance. Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, gave a keynote address at the gala ceremony.
The Best Managed Companies Awards Programme recognises the overall success of a company, including management strength, ability to innovate, strategic initiatives and financial performance. Version 1 first attained the Best Managed accolade in 2012 and has successfully retained this award for the past four years. This achievement was marked by Version 1 receiving the Gold Standard for continued focus on delivering superior business performance.
Commenting on the award Version 1 CEO Justin Keatinge said, “Receiving this award for a fourth successive year and receiving the Gold Standard award is something we are very proud of. It is an external benchmark that reflects the embedded culture of excellence within Version 1. As we continue to grow and expand into new markets we are focused in ensuring the world class standards achieved across profitability, customer satisfaction and employee engagement are not only maintained but are bettered. This award is recognition of the hard work and commitment of all Version 1 employees.”
