ICBF and Version 1 to Take the Stage at OpenWorld 

Oracle OpenWorld 2019 will take place from the 16th-19th of  September in San Francisco. With over 1,000 planned sessions, attendees will explore topics including transformational technologies, growth acceleration, intelligent cloud applications, and more.

Oracle OpenWorld 2019 will bring together a community of Oracle-end users from around the world who will be focused on how to leverage digital technologies and the Cloud for business success.

Version 1 will join leading innovators at Oracle OpenWorld 2019 to take part in exciting presentations and sessions, sharing our skills, mindset, and learnings with attendees.

ICBF and Version 1 to Take the Stage at OpenWorld 

We are delighted to announce that Karl O’Connell from ICBF and John Bolger from Version 1 will present at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco. ICBF, the organisation responsible for dairy and beef cattle breeding improvement in Ireland, partnered with the Version 1 Innovation Labs earlier this year to drive forward its innovative technology offering that will aid in the provision of cutting-edge services to Ireland’s farmers and the agri-food industry.

With the adoption of innovative technologies such as Blockchain in collaboration with Version 1, ICBF is endeavouring the leverage in its world-leading animal genetics database in order to deliver food quality metrics, animal welfare statistics and carbon emission information to the public. Running the largest livestock genomics project in the world, ICBF and Version 1 have been exploring Blockchain technology to enable traceability from farm to fork, helping consumers identify the most sustainable agricultural products.
