MUST BE BASED WITHIN 50 MILES OF EDINBURGH, LONDON, BIRMINGHAM, MANCHESTER, NEWCASTLE, DUBLIN, OR BELFAST

REMOTE BASED WITH VERY OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITES AND OFFICE.

Java Solution Architect

Job Description

You will be:

• Leading the development of Java and Python development projects.
• Designing and develop API integrations using Spark.
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into HLD and LLD solutions.
• Defining the architecture and technical design.
• Designing data flows and integrations using Hadoop.
• Working with the product team and testers to implement throughout testing.
• Creating and developing comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture, design, and user guides.
• Providing training and support to end-users and client teams.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

You will have expertise within the following:

• Java, Python, Spark, Hadoop (Essential)
• Trino, Airflow (Desirable)
• Architecture and capabilities.
• Designing and implementing complex solutions with a focus on scalability and security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
