Strong core values, a culture of trust and empowerment and a vision for success positions Version 1 as a top employer in the UK.

London, UK – 9th May 2019: Version 1 was extremely proud to be named as a Best Workplace™ in the United Kingdom at the annual Great Place to Work® UK Awards in London last night. This placement represents the remarkable journey that Version 1 has been on since opening their first UK office just six years ago. The company currently employs some 450 people across their UK offices and plans to hire several hundred more in the near future.

A delighted Tom O’Connor, CEO of Version 1, stated: “Version 1 in the UK has grown at a remarkable pace over the past number of years and we couldn’t be happier to be recognized by Great Place to Work in light of these efforts. Having recently opened our second office in London in conjunction with our rapidly growing teams across Edinburgh, Redditch, Kent, Belfast and Cheshire, Version 1 is firmly positioned to enhance our Cloud and Digital offering to clients across the UK. It is a very exciting time for the business.

The Cloud and Digital services specialist has ambitious growth plans and a strong acquisition pipeline having acquired HR Transformation specialist Cedar Consulting last year. Their team in Northern Ireland was last week named the ‘IT Company of the Year’ at the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards.

Great Place to Work® is a global analytical authority on high-trust high-performance workplace cultures and showcases organisations that hold a steadfast focus in ensuring their workplaces are the best that they can be. The awards are a testament to companies and employees who relentlessly strive to create a positive work culture, something Version 1 is integrally focused on.
