Version 1 and NEPO Partner for Procurement Platform Open
Version 1 is extremely proud to announce we have won the contract to partner with NEPO (North Eastern Procurement Organisation) on the support and development for “Open”, a new fully integrated e-procurement product, designed and developed by NEPO and powered by AWS.
Open will provide full lifecycle procurement capabilities for the 12 NEPO Local Authorities in the North East, as well as the wider public sector. This includes collaboration, strategic sourcing, tender management, contract management, supplier management and data analytics. Our expertise in IT Managed Services and Continuous Product Development, combined with our in-depth knowledge of AWS, makes us the ideal strategic partner to support Open. A product which aims to provide greater insights, meaningful and reliable data, improved visibility and transparency, enhanced stakeholder engagement and unlock potential benefits across commissioning and procurement for all stakeholders.
Version 1’s team of experts will work closely with NEPO and their stakeholders to ensure that Open operates smoothly and effectively, providing a valuable procurement solution for all of its users. We will use our experience to optimize Open’s performance, ensuring security, and reliability, and delivering ongoing product roadmap enhancements following a phased implementation in 2023.
