This non-technical session looks at the reasons for Cloud Strategies, where they fit, what purpose they serve, and how to create them.
Based on real experiences from creating strategies for customers in 2019 this session offers a straightforward approach to ensure a Cloud Strategy is positioned to deliver the change and vision needed to ensure the targets you have been set can be achieved. This session is aimed at CIOs and CEOs who have to deliver on IT strategies, and CTOs and IT directors who have to implement them. The methods we present are endorsed and recommended by leading industry watchers, and the major public cloud vendors.

This non-technical session looks the need to execute on Cloud Strategies and Roadmaps. Translation of Strategy into Action and actual deliverables requires attention to the organizational culture and being able to achieve change. Furthermore, it requires people who can make the change and implementation happen. These do not happen by change – creating the organizational culture for Cloud is normally tied up with other people imperatives. Our presentation shows through the lens of actual engagements this year how to effect the changes required through intelligent choices. We present pros, cons and tips, tricks and tactics that you can take away in order to help your organization build a winning cloud engagement focused on business change and cost reduction.

In this talk we will demonstrate that there is a way to rapidly deliver new business value in the digital domain whilst retaining much of the value of previous technology investments. This seeks to change the areas that can deliver most new value whilst mitigating risk and could involve making business functionality available across web and mobile devices, integrating core systems with other modern data and business insight platforms, extending underlying capability and functionality or by migrating and re-platforming applications in Public Cloud.
This session will show how our approaches can be optimised to allow organisations to modernise core business systems and legacy applications to work in the way that works best for their customers and stakeholders.
We will illustrate the drivers, approaches and benefits of Application Modernisation using a range of customer case studies and real-world scenarios.
Technology alone will not transform HR – it’s a fantastic tool but not the panacea. In this session we discuss the factors that contribute to the recipe for success & how a positive, measurable impact can be realised.
