Project Background

Zurich required a digital platform for brokers in order to offer innovative insurance quotations and provide tailored financial advice and better customer support to its clients. Version 1 was tasked to build a UI platform that could handle large growing volumes of business and integrate with core systems to provide prompt action transaction processing as well as clients’ data management.

Working with Version 1 has allowed us to embrace new technology with new services and new ways of building relationships with Brokers and Consumer, Version 1 has helped us in adapting to an agile technology delivery process.

Work Delivered

Version 1 assessed Zurich’s existing IT architecture and the Life Project requirements and recommended that a portal application would address these requirements most cost-effectively. Version 1 introduced an agile delivery process for the relevant journeys with cross-functional teams from both business and IT and created a modern, secure web portal providing the ability to access real-time information and transact securely from any device. Version 1 introduced a DevOps model for automation of infrastructure and application deployment to rapidly accelerate delivery.

  • Version 1 experts in Digital Transformation delivered on the Angular Web application integrating into a Mulesoft integration layer on top of Zurich’s core underlying insurance systems.
  • As a result of this digital platform, Zurich’s brokers can now offer real-time life Insurance quotes to customers through brokers via the Portal Application.
  • This Life Insurance application allows Zurich to embrace new technology with new services and new ways of building relationships with Brokers and Consumers.
