Version 1 named a Finalist in Computing’s Cloud Excellence Awards for the second year in a row.

Version 1 is pleased to announce that we have been named a finalist for the “Most Innovative Cloud Product or Service Award” in Computing’s Cloud Excellence Awards for 2019. 

The Cloud Excellence Awards aim to recognise the very best of the UK’s cloud industry, from the most innovative and compelling products and vendors, through to the top use cases from end-user firms. Taking place at the Hilton London Tower Bridge on the 19th September, we will be attending the ceremony hoping to be presented the award amidst sharp competition.

Commenting on the nomination, Tom O’ Connor, CEO of Version 1 said:

Version 1 has been nominated for our innovative Cloud Migration service, comprising of the movement of complex systems to the Cloud, which has generated both financial and efficiency savings for our customers. The integration of this specialist service has enabled our customers to reap the greater benefits of the Cloud and make a real difference to their businesses.

Throughout 2019 we have worked with multiple enterprises in the public and private sector, including CurrencyFair, Cafcass and the Legal Ombudsman (LeO)Speaking after Version 1’s successful delivery of a cloud focused Case Management System for LeO, Nikki Greenway, Head of IT, stated:
