Version 1, a leader in AI and transformation, today announced a strategic partnership with Digital Transformation Solutions. to accelerate the digital transformation of financial supervision worldwide via GovSpace.io, the operating system for public sector transformation. GovSpace was initiated in 2025 via the Cambridge SupTech Lab, an initiative implemented by Digital Transformation Solutions with the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

The collaboration will focus on developing and deploying advanced AI and machine learning capabilities with Google to help financial supervisors in the 140+ public sector agencies from 100+ countries already active on GovSpace to address critical challenges including financial crime prevention, fraud detection, climate risk monitoring, consumer protection, and AI governance.

Through this partnership, Version 1 will provide cloud and AI engineering expertise to support the team’s mission of fostering resilient, transparent and sustainable financial sectors globally and enhance features on GovSpace , helping agencies to scale , sustain innovation, and strengthen institutional resilience. The work will include expansion of recommendation engines, conversational AI assistants, model data pipelines, and scalable cloud infrastructure with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enable supervisory authorities to make more effective and data-driven decisions.

The initiative represents a significant step forward in applying advanced technology for social impact that renders direct benefits to consumers and financial systems worldwide. Digital Transformation Solutions’ work spans environmental initiatives such as climate risk monitoring and greenwashing detection, as well as social programmes like consumer protection analytics and governance improvements through AI-powered financial crime prevention.
