How many roles can I apply for?
At Version 1 we welcome multiple applications - feel free to apply for as many roles as you like!
I interviewed/applied last year and wasn’t selected. May I re-apply?
If it has been more than 6 months since your original application you are free to re-apply.
What does the Version 1 interview process look like?
The typical Version 1 hiring process is 3-4 rounds, comprising of a phone interview (technical), Hiring Manager interview and HR interview (and, if required, an interview with our customer). We also ask applicants to complete our Thomas International Assessments (psychometric) prior to meeting face-to-face.
When can I expect feedback about my application?
After initially applying to Version 1, you can expect to hear back from our Talent Acquisition Team within 2-3 business days. Further into the process you can expect feedback on your interviews within 1 to 2 weeks.
How long does the Version 1 hiring process take?
The Version 1 hiring process usually takes 2-3 weeks from initial application to final interview. Each interview will be 30-45 mins in length (but could run longer).
Tell me more about the Thomas International Assessments?
Thomas International is an online psychometric test that comprises of 3 individual assessments: PPA (Personality Profile Assessment), GIA (General Intelligence Assessment) and HPTI (High Performance Trait Indicators). For senior management and leadership roles there is also an additional test, the TEIQue (Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire).
What should I prepare for technical interviews?
We base our technical interviews around your skills, competencies and experiences. As such, there are no set questions. In advance of your interview we would always recommend going through the initial job specification and the company details.
Do I have to take a technical test as part of this process?
Sometimes - it depends on the role. Should the role you applied for require a technical test you will be advised of this in advance, and what to expect.
What should I prepare for a HR interview?
HR interviews at Version 1 aim to delve into your thoughts around your career; where you want to go, why you want to join us and more. We would recommend having a look at our website in advance of this interview, particularly our Core Values, DNA and Culture.
What should I wear to the interview?
We advise applicants to wear business formal attire to all of our interviews.
I am not located near any of the Version 1 offices. How will you interview me?
We are very flexible in terms of interviews. We generally use Skype for Business for interviews for people not located near our offices.
Can I get any more information in advance of my interview?
The recruiter will always touch base with you prior to your interview to answer any queries you may have. You can also reach out to them via email with any questions and they will be happy to help.
