As a global company, a remote purchase Purchase Order approval solution was needed for JD Edwards that allowed globally dispersed approvers to receive and respond to approvals without having to log into the ERP system.

Version 1’s Approval Express solution was identified; an add-on utility that has been designed to speed up and enhance standard JD Edwards approval processes. Approval Express works with all major standard email protocols to facilitate remote approvals seamlessly.

Implementation

Approval Express was implemented to process standard JD Edwards Purchase Order approval workflow messages. The new solution sits alongside Seajack’s standard JD Edwards system with no modification to standard code.

Approval Express now sits alongside Seajack’s JD Edwards system, with approvals now possible using a secure and auditable email process. Approvals are accessible by approvers wherever they are, using an easily adopted and intuitive to use process. No additional hardware was required and no additional software or mobile application was installed on user devices.
