DEFRA RPA Selects Version 1 as IT Support and Maintenance Partner for the Rural Payments Service
The Rural Payments Agency, part of DEFRA continues to entrust a range of its payments systems to Version 1 following a competitive procurement process under the Tech Services 2 Government Procurement framework.

The UK’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has selected Version 1 to continue as a strategic partner for support and digital development across 4 business-critical systems as the Agricultural Transition and the Future Farming Programme gathers pace.
Version 1, in partnership with 1Spatial – a leading global GeoSpatial technology provider, will support and evolve the Rural Payments Service Portal; Spatial Data Mart (SDM) & LIDM; Land Management System (LMS) and the Inspections System.
A key focus of this new contract is the flexibility to support RPA and DEFRA through Agricultural Transition and the transformational agenda of the Future Farming Programme.
